Last night Dane picked me up at 2:30 in the morning and said we were going somewhere special. We drove for a couple miles up to The Point where you can see all the city lights and everywhere else is completely dark. The night sky was pitch black except for the many stars strung throughout the canvas above us and the soft hazy glow illuminating from the city below us. He pulled into a field behind this white picket fence where I see a vase of roses, two wine glasses, a lit candle, and a bottle of sparkling cider. I thought we had stumbled upon another persons midnight romantic spot for a moment until I realized that he had set that up for me. It was honestly such a pleasant surprise. We sat in the wet grass where we looked at the stars and sipped sparkling cider together. It was honestly one of the nicest things any guy has ever done for me.
